Summer Highlights
We're delighted to be launching Carbon Aware People - a new way for individuals and businesses to fund woodland creation and peatland restoration at our character-packed projects across the UK. It builds on a year where we succeeded in getting a spectacular 20,000 trees in the ground, benefitting 11 communities, small holders and ecosystems across the UK. We have our CAP Green Marshalls helping drive sustainability forward on set, and we saw promising signs that the green agenda is galvanising broadly across the industry at Sustainable Film's Showcase at Pinewood Studios in July. A huge thanks, as ever, goes to our funders for making our work possible.

NEW! Carbon Aware People
We're delighted to be launching the not so little sister of CAP, Carbon Aware People, which enables individuals & businesses to collectively fund our tree and peat restoration projects across the UK from £5 to £30 each month. Members become part of a community & are invited to join planting days. It's a quick and easy way of turning niggling knots of worry about climate change into joyful, positive action. Green Marshalls work their magic
It's all too common to see piles of black bags on set, likely headed for incineration. Our Green Marshalls help change that. By sorting waste and recovering recyclable materials, they ensure valuable resources stay in circulation instead of being burned. The result? Lower emissions, better recycling and at very little extra cost to the production.
Sustainability Showcase at Pinewood Studios
We were proud to be showcasing CAP at Sustainable Film's dedicated trade exhibition at Pinewood Studios on Thursday 9 July. Having production teams, electrical departments, locations managers and sustainability leads under one roof is incredibly useful and genuinely heartening. The solutions to many of the industry's biggest carbon challenges are out there. The more productions that engage early and embed sustainability into planning from the outset, the better.
