Plant Trees To Acknowledge Your Carbon Footprint
Drawing carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere is vital if we are to combat climate change.
Trees absorb carbon dioxide as they grow. The process is indispensable but also slow. It takes around 4 trees 50 - 100 years to absorb one tonne of Co2. When it comes to climate change, time is of the essence. The solution? Reduce your carbon emissions and plant plenty of trees.

MAKE ONE OFF, MONTHLY OR ANNUAL DONATION
One-off or regular payments are encouraged. They can result in the planting of multiple acres of woodland in one go. Consider committing 1% of your production budget to tree planting.
4 Trees absorb approx 1 tonne of Co2 over 50 - 100 yrs & cost £26.40
40 Trees cost £264
400 Trees cost £2,640
4000 Trees cost £26,400
* The price per tree may vary slightly through the year depending on the projects we are partnering.
Once you have paid for the planting of your trees you will receive a CAP certificate as proof of your donation. This can be used on your call sheet & circulated as widely as you wish.

As our response to the climate crisis intensifies, so do the numbers of re-wilding and re-foresting projects. CAP takes pride in finding the very best of these to collaborate with.
Criteria for the projects we partner is that each is UK based, each plants a carefully selected variety of native trees on formerly degraded land that would not have otherwise been used & each guarantees the life of the woodland being planted. To date the majority of projects have also had their trees certified by the Woodland Carbon Code.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Once your donation is made we will send you details of the project we are currently partnering, an introduction from the ecologist in charge and an estimated planting date for your trees. See projects here.
After planting you will receive GPS coordinates of your plot, photos & video footage of the saplings, plus further updates as they grow.
Planting trees is so much more than just planting trees. It is the creation of woodlands which provide habitat for wildlife, boost biodiversity, protect against major flooding, improve air quality, offer wild space for people to roam & even act as sound buffers to noisy roads. Our aim is to provide the right level of feedback from the field to allow funders to feel as connected as they want to the trees.
