Across the gloomiest days of early Jan, hardy local volunteers were forcing spades into the cold ground in a sterling effort to get trees planted. They managed several hundred of the 5000 total CAP funded trees that have now been planted to help replenish the ancient Holcot & Reynolds Woods in Bedfordshire. 🌲🌲🌲Cash cropping trees in Scotland is an established and growing part of the landscape. Last week, Dec 2025, we joined our lovely partners Eadha Enterprises who are planting 3,400 CAP funded broadleaf trees🌿🍂within a 4.5 hectare conifer plantation to help soften the impact of the next tree crop. A healthy 6,500 CAP funded trees are starting life under the watchful eye of our attentive planting partners at Trees for Life a stone's throw from Loch Ness 🤸‍♀️🌿🍁💫 They are currently spread through the various stages of stratification, germination, growing in polytunnels & hardening up at the Dundreggan Tree Nursery preparing for planting out in the spring when the ground is softer.
