CAP's Temperate Rainforest in Devon

We’re excited that another 1600 CAP trees🌳🌲🌳🌲 were planted this March on a reliably wet hill in Simonsbath, Exmoor National Park, extending a small pocket of precious TEMPERATE RAINFOREST🌧💦 that exists there.

Temperate Rainforest is woodland🍃🍁 that is exposed to very high rainfall and has a relatively mild, year round climate. These conditions provide the perfect environment for rare ancient ferns, lichens and mosses 🍃🪲 all with deliciously compelling names like String of Sausages lichen, Lungwort and Old Man’s Beard. The UK has small refuges of rainforest running up its weather beaten 🌊 🌧 west coast, but it all needs extending.

THANK YOU 🙏 to @exmoornp for letting us be involved, and THANK YOU 😊 to @merman_london@biscuit.filmworks@scoutproductions @deniseShenton Productions @thinkbox@greenshoot @fresh_locations@deluxe_event_toilets@neutrinofilms @showbites_@wearewonderhatch for paying for the trees 🌱🌱🌱. It is so appreciated.
